Bob Kingsbery is a leading expert on livestock fencing and behavior. He has designed, marketed and built all kinds of livestock fencing. He has written hundreds of articles about installing and maintaining livestock fencing for major livestock publications.

Bob
Kingsbery is an international authority on livestock fencing and
animal behavior. He has written more than 100 articles on the subject,
including “Stop That Loose Horse” for EQUUS (July 2006); “How To Install A Safe Electric Fence” for PRACTICAL HORSEMAN (March 2004); “Prevent Fence Failure” for EQUUS (April 1999); and "What's New In Livestock Fencing"for THE CATTLEMAN (June 1992). He is the author of an instruction booklet on electric fencing:ELECTRIC FENCING: DO IT RIGHT!
Kingsbery has
conducted more than 300 seminars on fencing technology and
grazing management for livestock producers throughout the world. He has
been a consultant and international sales representative for several
agribusiness companies involved in the manufacture of fencing equipment.
He has written two books on livestock management: WELCOME TO THE NEW LIVESTOCK INDUSTRY (with Laurence Lasater) and HOW TO PLAN, IMPLEMENT AND PRACTICE CONTROLLED GRAZING ON YOUR PLACE.
Bob grew
up on a cattle ranch near Crystal City, Texas and worked on his
family’s horse breeding operation. He earned a degree in Agricultural
Journalism from Texas A&M University in 1976 and joined The Outfit,
a cattle and horse marketing company. From 1980 to 1988 Kingsbery was
Director of Marketing and then President of Gallagher/Snell, Inc., the
U.S. distributor for Gallagher Electronics, the world's largest electric
fencing company. In 1988 he formed Kingsbery International to market
electric fencing and other livestock products worldwide, as well as work
with agribusiness companies and livestock producers on modern fencing
and management techniques.
In1991 Kingsbery joined American
FarmWorks (now Zareba Systems), the nation's largest manufacturer of
electric fence controllers, as International Sales Manager. He consulted
on the selection and design of electric fencing products,packaging and
marketing. He established distributors in Europe, Central and South America. In
1998 Bob was named General Manager of AFW/DARE International,
a marketing alliance of two electric fencing manufacturers. He was Sales
Manager for J.L. Williams Inc., a horse-fencing manufacturer, until
2004. He is currently the International Sales Manager for Dare Products,
a leading fence equipment manufacturer.
Bob has provided expert
witness consultation and testimony in numerous cases involving livestock
related accidents, livestock fencing, animal behavior and livestock
management.
